How to keep screen fully lit?

Jun 23, 2005 2:49AM PDT

Hi:
I have a Compaq Presario 2100. When I unplug it, and have it running on batteries, the screen dims considerably. I imaging this is to conserve battery power, but I find it very annoying. Is there a way to allow the screen to remain fully lit, even when running on batteries? I tried under power management, but did not see screen lighting or anythoing like that.
Thanks so much!

Exactly, but not quite

Hi:
Thanks so much for the response.
That is exactly the problem I'm having, however the fix that worked for this person, does not work for me. When I do fn f11, I just get a full screen window (with toolbar removed etc.)
Thanks again!

And my r3000 menus may not be the same either. Notice where they found their answer.
