Pretty sure

Pretty sure, though someone can certainly feel free to prove me wrong, that Terminal Server will only install on the server versions of Windows. So NT, 2000 (Advanced) Server, Windows 2003 Server, etc.

You've been mislead.

The terminal server license is installed on the terminal server and not on Windows XP. There is some client access software but that is not a license but I bet some could confuse this with that.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
