Sounds like an excellent question for the Texas Instruments support staff. Few people these days have any need for a USB to serial/parallel port bridge, so the odds of someone here having any experience with that device are slim. You'll likely have far more luck asking them than us.
I have followed the instructions in the following URL to the T:
http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/Documentation/usb/gadget_serial.txt?v=2.6.34
This document was also provided by Texas Instruments for their product TMS320DM365 which I use.
However, every time my device on the Windows XP PC side gets enumerated as a LibUSB-Win32 device and not as COM & LPT, as explained by the document. I wish to establish communication from gadget serial to windows host PC through USB CDC. Could you please help?
Thanking you in anticipation.
