How to install Mac OS X on a Laptop VAIO with Windows Vista?

I understand that having 2 partitions, one for Windows and another for Mac I can install Mac. My doubt is: how can I give the format to "new partition" in Mac Language because I did a new partition without format but the Installation DVD doesn't runs the installation program, sometimes just put on a screen with "no operating system found" then I reboot my PC and restarts with Vista again.

What program can I use to format in Apple Language?

*My PC is a VAIO, with Intel pentium Dual Core Processor, 1.0GB RAM. The DVD installation program is Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 for Intel processor.

Apple does not license their OS for use like that.

There are long discussions about this why such discussions get locked and this one gets a lock too.
