Question

How to install apps on samsung smart TV form USB

Aug 15, 2016 11:56AM PDT

Hello there,
I am new on this forum.I have got Samsung Smart TV Model T24D390S. This is small 24 inch LED TV with Smart features.
I have problem with installation apps from USB.
I know that after opening Smart Hub I have to go to the bottom of the screen and click on "More Apps" and then put USB drive into the TV USB socket. After that my TV should detect app and install it.
Main problem is : when Smart Hub is open there is no "More Apps" option at the bottom but there is : Most popular, What's New and Categories. Maybe somebody had similar problem and know how to resolve it. Thank you , any tip will be appreciated.

Where in the user manual is this?

Not to shut you completely down here but I've yet to see this on Samsung TVs.

Also, I've yet to find a site with apps for download to the USB.

Installation apps from USB

Obviously there is nothing how to install apps from USB in User Manual. I found it somewhere in the net and don't remember where exactly.
The App which I want to install is a IPTV player to watch Zebra Telecom TV streaming and has been downloaded from them.
They also giving instructions how to install it but it doesn't work.

I will reveal I did go to a seminar on Smart TV development. You can join up if you wish to know more at samsungdevelopers.com

Since Samsung does not document this and I know what I know, you must get the folk that told you this to fix it.
