How to install Android on PC

Jan 15, 2017 9:26PM PST

Hi all,

I tried to install android6.0-r1 64bit on following PC

AMD 8-core

Created a VM to test run Android.

Steps performed;
VM creating
Name and operating system
Name: android6.0-r1
Type: Linux
Version: Other Linux (64-bit)

Memory size 5120MB
Hard disk file type VDI (VirtualBox Disk Image)
Dynamically allocated

File location and size 16G

Video Memory: 32MB

Started Android on VM. After selecting Language it came to a screen (unfortunately I couldn't attach the file here)

I couldn't proceed further, no key having function. Mouse pointer didn't work on the screen because VM guest addition haven't been installed.

Advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your advice.

Finally I got Android startup and running.

The trick is on VM Settings:
-> Motherboard
-> Pointing Device: PS/2 Mouse

then the mouse works on Android screen.

Also I can get Android connecting Internet with;
VM Settings -> Network
Adapter 1
Attached to: Bridge Adapter
Name: br0

I'll get Android installed later.
