How to install a second hard drive?

by tailee / October 16, 2007 9:28 AM PDT

I would like to install a second hard drive in my pc. I would like to know how to do this. My fisrt hard drive in running winxp pro and the second hard drive that I would like to install has winxp home edition. Is there going to be an issue with the second having winxp home edition on the second hard drive? What do I need to do?

I too am installing a 2nd hard drive. I would like the instructions step by step (where?) and I want to know can I transfer my data from the old hard drive and make the new bigger hard drive the main drive? Is there something about making one a master and one a slave?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
