how to install a clear xp

When xp was installed in half way, something went wrong and I needed to retrieve the xp cd. I format that particular segment and install xp in a new segment. The 2nd install went well, but the 1st xp setup menu is still there. I wonder how to clear up those garbages left from the 1st installation.

Thank you there.

I got a 'lsass.exe - system error' on the welcome screen. It says I/O operation fails for some registration files.

That's usually the worms.

On a clean install of XP, it has no protection so you see that error when the owner hooks up to a network.

Type lsass worm into to learn more.
