How to I put pics from my e-mail back on my computer?

I save my pics in my e-mail account, hotmail, so if my hard drive fails I still have them. I did end up buying a new computer and now I am trying to put them in a folder on my desktop from my hotmail account. I want to send a few of them to friends and family, put a few of them in my Face book site and use one of them for a posting on Craigs list. My OS is Vista home premium. Can you please explain how (if possible) I do this?

Locate Picture in hotmail, right-click on picture, select 'save as', then 'save'..very simple
