and if so they are browser add-ons that you can disable or select not to show.
Just how you do that depends on just which browser you are using and that bit of information you haven't mentioned.
For most browsers you can hide the toolbar by right clicking the browser window in a blank space near where the HELP menu item is then de-select what you do not want.
Our computer with windows XP crashed and died. We now have windows 7. when i log on to the internet i have six lines of apps in addition to the yahoo search bar. i only need the yahoo search bar and the 'Options" app, the http:// search bar, the minimize app, the close app, the restore down app, the home app, the favorites,feeds and history app, the tools app, the tool bar options app, and maybe the line that shows previous sites.
i do not need bing search bar, and all the other,(about 40 or so) other things to click on. they just take up space.
how can i take off the things on the top of the page which i do not want and do not need.
