Question

how to get to restore point on an acer extensa computer?

Sep 30, 2011 2:32PM PDT

Have tried everything so far to get to the restore point. Boot up keeps taking me back to a blank "windows screen". No icons, No start nothing. Ran Acer recovery manager for 2 x 3 hours and only had blue circle running. Any help, suggestions much appreciated. Also I have been able to get all data from the HDD, and do not have a Win7 disc as per all Acr computers

Answer
That's right.

On the Acers we never get a Windows 7 DVD. But they do have a method to make "restore media." If you opted out and can't create them, the next step is to order a set.

Just wondering and you don't have to answer. Why didn't you make the restore media?

Again, it's a curiosity, nothing more.
