How to get the first rank on google search?

Apr 13, 2015 5:21PM PDT

I can offer to the visitors about my ecommerce site to make sure that my site is more valuable, more interesting, more amazing or useful than how to rank my site on the top of the search result.

That depends on the search terms people use. And most people don't search for "interesting", "amazing", "valuable" or "useful". Most people just go to amazon.com, because it has everything, offers good prices, fast delivery and good customer service.

It's more than search terms.

It's also how good your company is. Amazon gets top ranks because they have what folk want, ship and wow look at the Amazon Prime return policy.

Are you competing with them?

It all simply depends on how you handle your marketing strategy. For an ecommerce website, I believe it focuses on conversions and not on rankings and for that, if you really want your website to top on Google, a combination of SEO and Pay-per-Click advertising would be the best solution.

#1 is ambitious... but that depends on what search term you go for. Amazon is huge, though, so just about any ecommerce you go into you'll have to compete with them. Unless you offer a completely unique product.

That said, if you want to boost your site, you'll want to look up SEO. Moz offers a good guide: https://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-seo
