Question

How to get the driver for my HP Photosmart All in one C4780

Jul 23, 2015 9:13PM PDT

i have the above mentioned HP printer, which I used wirelessly on an XP laptop.
I have now upgraded to another laptop, using Win7 Professional.64 bit.
I have lost the driver software, cannot find it. I have extensively searched HP and many other sites trying to download this. I keep getting an error message indicating that that printer was for Win XP. I used the printer on another laptop with Win7 Home edition.
Can anyone suggest a work-around so I don't have to replace a decent printer?

and it even works for me in Linux too. You can use the XP install files if necessary. Right clk on the setup and choose to install in compatibility mode.
