How to get subtitles from watching a movie on USB?

Hi I am watching an MKV movie that has subs as a separate file, however when I push CC on the samsung controller, it says No Source Found.

Clarification Request
I spoke to Samsung customer service and said it is not avail

So the Samsung customer service said that my brand of TV only allows subtitles or CC for media players via composite or component.. NOT hdmi, which is odd. I don't know if she knew what she was saying, but my understanding is that she meant only for external devices.

Sorry but.

I've yet to see much progress on such firmware. For now the subtitles must be external for models that have firmware that does not support internal subtitles.
