Many models allow us to disable Smart Hub and that kills the smart hub info too. I can't guess if you need smart hub (I don't.)
As to the USB message call 1800SAMSUNG and ask for a faster reply.
Samsung Model UN55HU6830. Recently hooked up a USB wireless Logitech keyboard, which works fine. However whenever the TV is started it displays an onscreen message about it being hooked up and takes like 10 seconds to disappear. Is there any way to disable that message short of pulling out the USB transmit thing? Also I'd love to disable the display of the Smart Hub info upon startup! Otherwise am very pleased with this set's picture and performance, fwiw.
