Question

How to get close capture on the handbrake program

May 31, 2014 3:24PM PDT

I love movies and use Handbrake to make a extra dvd of my collection so my disk are not handled. My problem is I look at a lot of my movies on my computer and for some reason I can't get the close capture as I am hard of hearing. Does anybody know how to get close capture without all the previews

Subtitles or close caption

Maybe I should ask about getting close caption or subtitles with 1-click DVD copy or copy Pro without all the previews.

You'll have to ask 1-click.

I don't remember if I read or was told that it was legal to make one(1) copy of your store bought dvd in order to reserve your original copy. I understand the cost it is to make a movie but being a movie lover I also know what it is to have a few hundred(maybe around a thousand) Beta movies to throw away because the format was changed to VHS and then after buying VHS going to DVD. It would be nice if they would give some credit or trade-in on them to upgrade to the next format. Now it looks like things are going to Blu-ray. If it does I will not buy another movie to be used as landfill. These transfer from VHS to DVD don't work that good.

Exactly.

When the studios pushed advertising to the max, they lost a lot of folk.

As to your transfer from VHS to DVD question, all seem fine here. That is, I only get VHS quality and once in a while folk thought they would get DVD quality. So no to that.

I don't use Handbrake to make a copy of a movie of a DVD. I use the "copy DVD" function of any DVD-burning program, or IMGBURN if I not only want a copy on an optical disk, but an iso-image on a hard drive also. On a 2 TB external disk I could put 200 disk images, ready to be viewed after connecting it to my PC or TV.
