Question

How to get clear images?

Sep 21, 2014 12:29PM PDT

Shapes aren't coming into focus on the images I'm attempting to capture. Could someone tell me how to get clear images? All advice is welcome! Apologies if this question seems dumb, I'm new to posting on forums.

Answer
I had to use manual focusing.

But let's get some tutorial about calibrating auto focus on some DSLR up here.
"If you have a DSLR with AF microadjustment capabilities and focus adjustment is necessary, adjust your camera and try the test again. Repeat if necessary. Repeat for all of your lenses - the improvement in their performance may surprise you."

When I need to better focus, I don't use AF (autofocus.)

In parting, I also learned to add more light or change the lighting to make better pictures.

Check to see if camera is set to AUTO.
Check the front of the lens (glass) and look for fingerprints or smudges. Clean if necessary
(use soft clean dry lint free , cotton cloth)

Find the photo file on computer.
Right Click on file name.
Click "Properties".
Click "Details" tab.
Scroll down.
What does it show for the following.
