How to freeze the Word margin and display setting

Hi Experts

Basically my problem is, I have created my job resume on MS word, I have adjusted its margine and text format in the way I want. However, the margine setting will be moved if I open this document on another machine.

So how can I make sure my Word document margin and format setting stay unchange no matter where it is going to be opened on different machine.

Word autoformats to work with the host machine's display and printer. This is not a bug.

Make it a PDF to lock the formatting.
