1. The Setup from the Windows XP CD will offer you to format the drive.
2. It won't harm at all (and it's better) to convert the other drives to NTFS also.
I used FAT32 file system in my all past Windows XP installations but now I installed windows XP with NTFS file system (Drive C converted to NTFS).
My problem is If I need to format again Drive C (NTFS drive) and re-install the windows XP, How can I format that NTFS drive (C:) ?, I'm unable to do it with MS-DOS (with Win 98 Bootable CD). Pls tell me how to do that without losing data in other FAT32 drives (D, E).
Also I like to know that converting all the drives (C, D, E) to NTFS is good or bad ?, I mean should I convert only "C" drive to NTFS system and others leave as FAT32?
Pls give me clear instruction for the above two questions.
