Not my field, but I read this, which might help :
I'd ran across a method to set the hours when a user can log onto a Windows XP Professional SP2 system and as a final step, there's an option in 'gpedit.msc' named 'forcelogoff' (or something like that - I don't have the exact option name in front of me - sorry) which when 'enabled' will supposedly log off a user at a specify time. I'd rebooted the system and the time constraints seemed to work; i.e. the user cannot log into the system outside the defined hours. However, when the expiration time was reached, the user wasn't forcibly logged off. Is there a known problem with 'gpedit.msc' for this option or is there another method to forcibly log off a user at a specified time?
Thanks in advance for any help.
