Question

How to fix these problems?

Sorry but I have a variety of issues with my LG WebOS and I was wondering how to fix it:

1. Is there any way to set up favorite channels using a computer using my LG account  rather than on TV with the remote?

2. When I switch on my TV, it is always set to live tv and since I have no antenna it makes that annoying hissing sound? How can I set it up so that it go straight to Hulu etc.?

3. I find no way to cast Youtube directly from laptop to LG TV without using screen cast?

Item 1 doesn't seem possible given item 2.

Channels on our sets are only for the antenna input which you don't have. To have the set power up to other than antenna I'm always reading the product manual. But with no exact model I can't do that for you.

As to item 3 I use the usual HDMI cable.

By Item 1 I mean setting ip channels etc. Can I delete useless items on my LG WebOS home page like 'Accessibility' etc. I have a uj 6300 and os is LG WebOs 4.70.10. Here is a video showing how to cast youtube from laptop to TV https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5ImUYDjocY&t=37s. The problem is that here in my LG Youtube app I have no 'Link Devices' option.

I have yet to setup "ip" (internet protocal) channels so your either typo'd or something else. Please correct that next.

As to useless items, most can't be deleted. These smart TVs are very unlike your phone or PC. Not even close.

As to the link, well, my PC to TV connection is HDMI and does the job. That cast youtube to TV requires so many things to work right and in your case is not working.
