How to Fix the New Design

by rosscbrown / October 17, 2006 10:20 AM PDT

It is really quite simple. More yellow!

Here is a quick thing I knocked up in Photoshop - I'm not all that great in PS and this was a two minute thing so please, don't mock my lack of skill or attention to detail.

Also, who uses the search bar? Do enough people use it to justify it being to darn huge? If I had something sell, that is where I would want an ad!

I like what you've done

That's nice - a good in between. Makes the transission good while keeping the old feel of the site.

It's like the modern mini (the car I mean). Much improved but with more than a nod to the original. CNET take note!

The yellow looks really nice and I agree the search bar is useless, everytime I try to use it, it never helps so I google it instead.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
