i recently bought a ZOOOK ZM-H400 head phone..after just a week the wires split up in the region where the volume control and mic is placed within of the wire. all the thin wires wrapped within the main wire came out from the circuit that it was soldered. i tried to solder but it was no use. I'm afraid you voided the warranty by trying to fix it yourself. See what the shop says about it.

You pretty much shafted yourself by trying to fix it...warranty issue. Since, it happened in a week of use, you should have gone back or started something with the vendor. Now, I afraid you're stuck having a broken gizmo that doesn't work. You can try but i don't see a bright side of this unless the vendor is agreeable.
