Hi

I purchased a Tablet from China. Every time i click on the camera icon, i get a error message "Unfortunately Camera has Stopped". I have already tried clearing the cache and resetting factory settings but does not work. Can anyone assist me to fix this. The tablet is running Android 4.0.4.

Well, you could always......

....try to contact the manufacturer but I doubt that will do any good. Unfortunately, that is a risk from buying a device not from a major manufacturer. You save money in buying the device at the cost of lack of customer support.

I guess the camera driver is not properly installed or the version is not fully supported by the processor. you can ask particular driver to your manufacturer.

Thanks

Answer
have same problem

I bought a phone from China, and am getting the same message for random apps on my phone. But the difference is, the apps worked before, they just aren't working now. One app in particular is skype, I had no problems the first night I tested the phone out. I've reset the phone back to factory settings, cleared cache too, it doesn't work. Has it "ever" worked at all for you? If you find a solution let me know please. This is very annoying. I was fooling around with the phone as was typing, what fixed my issue is uninstalling the updates from play store.

Works fine on all the androids in the office.

But we don't have any no-name models. The office is porting apps so we have the usual names like Nexus, Kindle Fire HD, HTC, LG, Samsung.

Try another model but what I'm seeing is some units fail like that and you can't find support or repair.
