How to Fix a Computer That Keeps Going into Sleep Mode?

My Monitor keeps going into sleep mode after using for 5-10mins. But the CPU is still running. I can still hear my songs playing from the com. So is there any way i can fix this?

its a desktop, i have sent my cpu to repair but after i get it back my monitor still going into sleep mode. Anyway i can stop my montior from going into sleep mode? My stand by mode are all off.

I sent my com for service but after i got it back its still the same... after i play a game on com it will go into slp mode...

It appears that no make or model is noted and that you don't do your own repairs. Remember I can't repair over the internet either. Just supply ideas about what a member could do.

make (Dell, HP, Compaq, Acer, etc.) and model of the computer so we can't check to see if this is a systemic problem or not.

It was suggested you clean the computer and update the video drivers but you don't seem to have done that.

Have you gone into the Control Panel and selected the Power Options applet and set the power scheme to NEVER shut down the monitor?

You have to ANSWER these questions and suggestions so we know what you have actually tried - we are NOT mind readers.
