how to find running prgram

I have been trying to install Windows Updates but at the end of installation it says "Setup was unable to install all components. Please close all applications and try running setup again". I have no idea how to do this. Can anybody help me?

i have had problems like that too. i would just keep trying different things, sometimes it just as simple as restarting your computer and starting again.

to find running programs
hit ctrl+alt+delete

then u will have a window appear go to task manager. there u will see all the programs u have running at the time. if u have any farther questions let me know...

Thank you, I had not thought of the ctr alt del. I did that, and am running ScanDisk. This was another program that gave me that message. It seems to be working. Thanks again!
