How to find missing file

by kmetzger / July 3, 2013 10:40 AM PDT

I'm a computer dummy. I use Windows XP and a Dell Inspiron desktop. Recently I tried and failed to burn a DVD and in the process downloaded various programs that didn't work for me. I assume that my new problem is related to this failed attempt.
When I turn on my computer I get the following message:
Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard. This wizard helps you install software for: Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset Family.
The file igfxpph.dll on Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver is needed.
I've tried to follow the instructions to install it but don't know where to find the missing file. Help appreciated. Kim

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
