how to find bing?

by Natronx / May 28, 2009 12:19 PM PDT

OK, so how the heck do you find bing? I read like 20 news stories on it, all raving about how great Microsoft is, but there is no way to use it. First I google "bing" and find bing.com but all find when I click on bing.com is a Flash movie, no search engine.

You read that right, a Flash movie on the Bing-Microsoft site, but no search engine.

Then I google "how do i use bing?" and nothing useful comes up. So I Yahoo it, still nothing useful, so I give up and try Live.com....and guess what....still nothing useful! This Bing hype is a bunch of crap until people can actually find and use this search engine.

I think Bing will be the new Live. They announced it, but they haven't officially launched it yet.

The new Microsoft search engine, called Bing, goes live in stages between Friday and June 3. At launch, the new service will have a strong American bias, with a UK version "soft-launching" as a Beta test version. A 60-strong London-based team will work on improving the localisation of search results for the UK, with a view to a full launch in around six months.

Other countries might have to wait still longer.

So at this rate can probably expect the Australian version by 2012, along with eventually the launch of the Zune here...

When I searched on google for bing there were only articles about the new site. Then I typed the full name in the address bar and there it was. It looks good, but is it just the same as msn search was, or are the search results better too?
