how to enable mail server to my own website

hi

i am doing website in dotnet using c#.

can anyone tell me how to enable and configure free mail servers to my own website,and which mail server is the best one.

pls its urgent.

Most hosting companies offer website space combined with email-addresses. So better ask yours. If they don't offer it, it's likely they block it anyway, to prevent it being used for sending spam.

If you happen to host the site on your own server at home or work and rely on a hosting company, please tell more about that, such as your OS (like Windows or Linux), your webserver program (like IIS or Apache) and your protection against malware.

I am Using Windows Xp Service pack 2 o.s Version 2002.

using IIS 5.1.

Could U also tell me which site offers free mail server.

because most free mail servers are only used to send the mail,i can't receive the mails from other mail servers like yahoo,gmail;

so pls tell me the site of offering free mail servers to send and receive mails.

Be also caareful about which mail server company. Just because they're free doesn't mean they don't have any problems--ie they're on blacklists. As mentioned, some hosting companies include e-mail hosting with their web hosting, like Williams Web Solutions.
