Are you referring to a "home" network? If so, how many machines are on it?
We also need more information about your network setup. Do all of the computers have the same "Workgroup" name? Have you enabled "File and Printer Sharing" on all computers in the network? In order to share printers on a home network, it's best to create an admin user on ALL machines with the EXACT same username and password. (Don't use "Administrator".) Have you done that? (Once that's done, make sure to create all the "shared" directories using that particular username and password.)
"Network Neighborhood" is an old term used with previous Windows operating systems like Windows 98. Windows XP uses "My Network Places".. Which operating systems are you using on your LAN?
Hope this helps and let us know more.
