If you have a 10yr. old PC then it probably has 10yr. video card/port as well. At that time, supporting a 17in. and its display demands weren't all that keen. Sooner or later because it has to output higher display demands it will falter. Further, if yours is some low ram amt. from the display, you gave no clue of the video method, it maybe lacking. If you can replace the video card -OR- instead one if mtrbd. supplies video via a port. Alas, a 10yr. PC, you may have to look hard to find a replacement video source, but used is OK. Last, you should check the needs of any new video source for PSU required. It may need a new connection besides more wattage output. All this has to be looked at to make a better PC overall.
Details do matter, just what does your PC consist of?

I have a 10 year old Desktop, well maintained for which I got a new AOC, LED 17" monitor recently. It was working normally, but oflate the display start slightly vibrating now and then. It is more pronouncecd when I am reading some contents of websites haiving display that is mostly character fonts. The AOC service person made a check up and declared that monitor is defectless and I have to check up the power connection earthing., which I have remade and technically got tested to be ok to avoid any interphase/earth/neutral leakage current etc. Still the vibration persists. Can somebody help me to correctly diagnose and eliminate it.
