How to eliminate the dialog box in Win-2000

Jun 9, 2004 3:41AM PDT

I have a PC with Win-98 and now I upgraded to Win-2000.
When I boot up the PC, It shows the dialog box, and asks for a password. How do I go directly to the desktop instead? Please help

One way is to go get TWEAKUI and use it's autologon feature.

1. In Control Panel, double-click Users and Passwords.
2. UNcheck the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" check box.
3. Click the Advanced tab.
4. UNcheck the Require users to press Ctrl-Alt-Del before logging on check box.

That should do it.
