How to educate Bosses

Dec 1, 2003 10:48AM PST

An SBSO company with about 4 bosses, 30 staff and 1 IT personel.

The IT personel have many Do's and Don't on the computer usage, which have been gathered and adapted from the internet and many forum such as this forum.

But, the Bosses think that will make people paranoid and become unproductive. Also they think, it only increase the steps of doing a task (download attachment, scan for virus, then open, etc. instead of click the attachment to open it)

The Bosses also think, since more than 50% of PC will get infected, so why bother with it...

As the IT personel, how he/she can educate those kind of Bosses...

What it takes to make the Bosses understand the thread of virus, spyware/adware etc. to the their business.

Thank You.
