How to disable file protection in windows 7????

You do that at your own peril. Is it REALLY worth risking having to reinstall Windows just to have a different theme?

You also really should be reconsidering this with a file sharing program like uTorrent. Who knows what else you may have picked up that could then get in. You should probably just let this one go.

I guess you're right, that's probably the same advice id give any normal pc user, Ive dealt with things like this before, just not with windows 7, I done it all the time with xp, I wouldn't say I'm an average user, I build PC's, I have a good amount of knowledge to the workings of a computer, Hardware and software, I know things the average pc user could only dream of knowing. I never claim to know it all though, cause I don't, Far from it. i have no problem with re installing windows, it's a walk in the park to me, as is removing a virus. I did although manage to disable file protection, I got it right the first time, but my VS still didn't work, so i called it quits..
