Toner levels are inaccurate and have been for years. I use the old pick up the cart and shake it method. It usually prints for another 100 sheets giving us time to get a refill.

Inkjet printers have indicators, laser printers not.
Simply course it goes so that in case of a small amount of toner the printed page is stained.
Is there a better way, more accurate? Or a pc utility?
