Question

How to delete Nvidia package launcher

Nov 30, 2014 12:03PM PST

I downloaded Nvidia driver version 340.52 last week. Since then I have been unable to delete the Nvidia Package Launcher that I downloaded. It keeps telling me that the action can't be completed because the file is open in windows explorer.

And Unlocker took care of the problem.
I also do not know why this is happening.

Does Zukko need a word of caution?

Blue_Zee,

I believe it was a prior version, where one needed to opt-out of installing the Babylon Toolbar. According to the change log at the link in your post, they added a "Fully optional Delta toolbar", as a promotional feature.

Does Zukko need a word of caution?

IF so, perhaps you might let him know what he needs to do (or not do) to avoid it. We already know he needs to keep his eyes wide open. But is there a custom or advanced option to choose from, which would eliminate the guesswork?

IF not, move on and enjoy the rest of your day! Happy

Thanks,
Carol

You're right

When installing Unlocker a Delta Toolbar option screen will popup.

The Advanced option should be selected and then UNtick the "Install Delta toolbar" option.

It's very easy to confirm and move on not noticing this.

That never happened to me.

May I suggest you try it again?
But before you uninstall Unlocker, reboot the PC.
