Question

how to create a pdf in Windows to be read by Mac Preview

Aug 30, 2011 7:10AM PDT

Using PowerPoint pdf-maker, pdf files I create are not viewable by Mac and IPad users that use Preview. How can I make a pdf from a Windows machine (Ppt, Word or Excel) that can be viewed by both Acrobat Reader and Preview?

Try the other free PDF makers.

Google these

DODPF
CUTEPDF

If they fail, it's time to buy Adobe Acrobat.

Answer
I never have a problem reading PDF files with Preview,

so I can only assume that Power Point pdf-maker is not producing "real" pdf documents.
