Question

How to copy text and pictures from a copy-protected pdf?

Mar 25, 2012 4:51PM PDT

Hi everyone!
I have problem. For homework , I need to make a presentation slide of a lesson in our Arabic book and add the translation myself. However the problem is that our book's pdf file is protected by a key. I have installed the key so I can view it but I don't have the permission to copy from it. Is there anyway that I can copy text (Arabic) and pictures selectively from this file?

In such cases, I use the Windows 7 snipping tool, or any other screenprint solution (like print-screen key + Paint) in older version of Windows.

Screenshot and crop is one option, I tend to convert the whole pdf to a word format (
http://pdftoword.pro/ )Then you can copy and paste at will.... Ofcourse you must watch any copyright issues and avoid plagiarism....
