How to copy DVD-RAM discs from camcorder to pc

Jan 7, 2006 7:24PM PST

Hi, I have a Hitachi DZ-MV 1000E digital camcorder and it came with 2 discs. ! was a 30 minute single sided disc that I recorded on and finalized and it plays back in my dvd player, the other is double sided re-writeable disc that I can record on to and play back in the camcorder but will not play back in my dvd player or my pc. When I have finished filming i do not have the option to finalize it I can only format it. Does anyone know how I can copy the mini disc to my pc so I can burn my own copy and then re use the re-writable disc.

Thankyou

Install a DVD-RAM capable drive in the PC and use software to rip it into some content on the PC. Ulead.com might work but first you need the drive.
