I'm not sure this is possible

MP3 is an "audio" format, not a video.

You cannot convert a video to an audio format and still see the video.

Can you give some idea what you want to do?

Thanks for noting,
I mean I want them to be so that I could play them in Windows Media Player or Winamp.
Not necessarily in audio...

wmv to mpeg?

I think you meant .wmv and not .wma. In any case, since it was created in Windows and it is a native Windows format, it should play in WMP with no problem. It may play in Winamp but you have to install plug-ins for it to play.

Give VLCPLAYER a shot.

It's something I'm finding easier to use than VIRTUAL DUB for TRANSCODING. Hint: when I type in all capitals, those words in google.com find more information about such.

If VLCPLAYER can play it, VLCPLAYER can transcode it to some neutral coding.
