Plenty of web content about it. Just look to HANDBRAKE.

There is a spammer about to get banned about a TOP software.

Lets be clear about this.

When you became a member of these forums you agreed to abide by Forum Policy. Click the link to refresh your memory of what you agreed to.

Since you joined at the beginning of April this year, you have made 10 posts. Your own personal post history is shown
in Your Profile here. In many of those posts you advertise the use of a certain multimedia converter.

In fact, in your first post in this discussion you ask which Ripper/Converter to use, but you have already, before this post, posted elsewhere many times in reply to other members which converter to use.

I call your first post here a shill. I suspect you would have posted later on stating you had found the right converter for you or your sister, and again promoted that converter you have been promoting previously. A suitable definition of a shill is provided here. Another definition here.

You are continuously contravening Forum Policy

You will have noticed that the posts and discussions in these forums are remarkably clear of all site, product, or services, advertising. There are no 'signatures' where a member signs off their post with some promotion or other. There is no 'flaming', 'abuse', or 'bad or offensive language' That is what Forum Policy protects against, and that is what the members of these forums prefer. We Moderators work hard to keep these forums clean and clear of such unwanted content.

If you want to promote some product or service, then you can approach CNET about Advertising on its site. To start you off, the
link is here, Advertising.

Anything else in these forums or elsewhere, in product reviews etc, is forbidden and such posts will be removed.

I trust you now understand why we are taking the action that we are taking against your posts.

One other thing.

When you have had sufficient time to re-read those posts you have posted where you advertise the multimedia converter, I will be deleting them all.
