How to convert audio files on windows media player to mp3?

I have several tracks that I cannot save to a file directory and convert using the CNET tool.

Might depend on what kind of audio file it is. Anyway, if you want to limit yourself to WMP, try to burn it to a (rewritable) CD, then rip it to mp3 from there.

well I just went to this site and downloaded the k-lite codec pack and now i dont need to convert my files cause it plays them anyway now. http://www.codecguide.com/ hope it works for you to Happy
