Hello how do i convert a sgi video to mp4 video? Does freemake video converter have a sgi to mp4 option?

You could screen capture it if no converter including yours and VLC PLAYER handles this.

Isn't that just a graphical interface for ffmpeg? Try this. Change the file extension to .mp4 and see if the video plays.

Thanks so much it worked i just changed the .MOVIE to .mp4 and now i can play the video and it turned into mp4 format . <3 thanks .My os is ubuntu and sometimes when i screenrecord things with kazam and finish the recording the video stays in sgi format and is unwatchable.Now i know how to fix this in the future if it ever happens again Screenrecording:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5gOuX-j4RU

Mint user. Use Recordmydesktop for onscreen video capture. It saves to ogg and ogv files. VLC doesn't convert it. I had to install Arista for that.
