Have you routed the audio through the audio card? Meaning if you unplug the 3.5mm from the laptop, you get audio from the laptop? If you let me know which region you're inquiring from, I can download the manual and take a look at the jackpack on the rear of the television to maybe assist.
How are you doing 5.1 output through a 3.5mm or RCA cable? You'll definitely want to keep your setting on 2 speakers.

Hi to you all! Recently i bought the le32b551 model, and i can tell you its very very good
from somewhile im trying to connect it with my pc.
i use an hdmi to dva cable , since i donot have hdmi output in my pc , and also use port no3 in the tv , and its all ok
BUT i cannot in any circumstances connect the audio!!!!
i ve used , an 3.5 m/m jacked cable , an rca-to 3,5 cable ,and use also all available 3.5 female ports in tv and all of them in my pcu onboard audio card.
my motherboard is gigabyte ga-dq6 model
All the jacks in pc transfer audio (so noone is briken or false)
i ve also used all possible selections ( 2spk-4spk-5.1 spk which is current setting)
