How to connect old HDD externally

Hi. I have a old Hard drive . I want to connect it to my laptop. Hot to Connect it to laptop externally with cables.?

It's better and safer to put it in a box. Such cables are meant for a repair shop so they can quickly work with a disk on their repair bench. Not for daily use at home.

If I used that cable then can it work. Does Hard drive need power supply to connect with Laptop. I watch adapter in some youtube videos.

Some do, some don't. Depends on the hard disk.
