Question

How to connect my Samsung D8000 LED TV to the internet

Now add some detail so that smart CNET users (like you!) can answer. If you're lucky, a CNET editor might choose your topic for a How To article or video.

Either wired or with a compatible wireless adapter. How else?

The user manual is the first place to look for the details. Or ask the shop where you bought it to install everything. Most do, for a rather small amount.

Both are much better than a forum. And you can't really expect CNET to produce how-to video's for each and every TV sold, I think.

As the D8000 has built in wireless, I have tried wireless using a Belkin N1 Router. The TV can connect to the router receives 3 bars of signal IP address assigned but cannot connect to the internet. I have configured the router by inputting the TV MAC address but still no joy.......any ideas?.

Now it's a much clearer question.

Time to change forums. Please repost with all details in our Samsung forum: http://forums.cnet.com/samsung-forum/

But have look there first. The topmost discussion at the moment has 34 posts and is labeled "Connecting C6500 to wireless network, no one can help so far". Although that's about a DVD player, it might contain some useful info. And there might be other relevant posts also.
