The hookup is like this.
WiFi Client (with Ethernet) to Switch.
I won't suggest anything specific but to start with, you can look at the WNCE2001 (see google) and then you know what a WiFi Client would look like.

My router (SKY) is nowhere near the Sky and DVD player.
I need to connect both to the network.
Is it possible to get a wireless switch that wirelessly connects to the wireless router?
I do not need a wireless hotspot.
I have searched for such a thing but maybe it does not exist.
I don't have any faith in the mains network extensions, they fail so much. I have had 3 of them, all stopped working, not sure why, no smell of burning.
