Question

How to clone only "C" drive to SSD

Mar 19, 2016 4:02AM PDT

Hello friends I am little bit confused. Currently I am using 1 TB hdd in my laptop. I have 3 partitions of my HDD. All the system files and OS are in "C" drive. Now to I am going to buy 240gb SSD. i want to ask how to clone only "C" drive(partition) without affecting "D" and "E"to sdd, as i want to boot "OS" from ssd and put large files to HDD. I dont have any external portable disk for backup.

Answer
I used Apricom's USB drive migration kit.

It has a "data selector" feature that would make this easy. Under 35 bucks on amazon.

Hi,

I would suggest you to try AOMEI Backupper Software in order to Clone Partitions or Volumes on HDD.

With this software you can either clone entire HDD or portions.
