how to clean up text

out of nowhere, certain text ; e mails, order forms, etc all of a sudden got real "fuzzy"
i thought it may have been assoc with recent windows updates , so i restored and still have issue ?!?

It happened to me and the answer to turn off hardware acceleration is one fix. The problem seems to occur with certain graphics cards and particularly some older Radeon series. The update (and I've forgotten the KB) is automatically installed when one updates IE to version 8 or 9 , as I recall. You cannot remove this companion update by itself but it was the culprit in my case. Removing the update also reverted to the previous version of IE and the issue went away. It might be possible that a graphics driver update would help as long as your card supports the changes the MS update made to your graphics system. Good luck.
