How to Change Wireless Router to B/G Mode in Vista

Jun 26, 2007 7:28AM PDT

hey guys, I'm trying to get my Wii to work online which means changing the Router settings to B/G but I dont know how to get to the router settings in vista. Basically, how do I change the settings in vista to get the router to broadcast in B/G, or mixed, mode? I've been looking for like an hour now and I cant get it to work. If it helps, i have a Linksys WRT54G router.

I using the PDF for Version 8.

Page 9 writes "Wireless Network Mode From this drop-down menu,
you can select the wireless standards running on your
network. If you have both 802.11g and 802.11b devices
in your network, keep the default setting, Mxed. If you
have only 802.11g devices, select G-Only. If you have
only 802.11b devices, select B-Only. If you do not have
any 802.11g and 802.11b devices in your network, select
Disable.""

(NT) You're right. See Version 2.0 for the manual.
